Postponement of Storm 2011
It has been quite an eventful period of planning and production, and finally when Storm Festival is just around the corner, the weather-gods have decided to play truant. The production team of Liquidspace Entertainment has been working hard in the torrential rain, hoping that the rains might subside by the festival weekend, but that was not the case. The unexpected untimely rains during this time of the year have made the festival venue slushy and muddy and some part of the venue has been water logged making it inaccessible for people as well as vehicles. It is a really trying experience for us, as Storm Festival is too close to our hearts. We know it is the same for you too.
We, at Storm Festival, wouldn’t want you to have an experience of nature in the current wet scenario. Frankly, it will be a logistical nightmare under these wet conditions. Therefore, keeping the situation in mind, we have decided to postpone the festival to the 20th and 21st of January. We hope all of you agree that it’s better to have the festival in better weather, rather than in wet, muddy conditions. We know that most of you have already made travel plans, and are all geared up for Storm Festival. We deeply and sincerely regret and apologize for the inconvenience caused. Having worked so hard ourselves, it’s heartening for us too that it had to happen this way, but untimely rains are something which is outside the realms of our control.
All the permissions and approvals have been taken from all the concerned authorities. We are working closely with the artiste managers for the event in January 2012. We request you to follow our updates on our website, www.stormfestivalindia.com , as well as on our social media channels- www.facebook.com/stormfestival and www.twitter.com/stormfestival .
Regarding Tickets:
Validity for refund (if any) is till 7th Dec 2011
ONLINE TICKETS:
• The online tickets booked by our Stormers for the 11th & 12th November event, are valid for the 20th & 21st Jan 2012 (the new dates of Storm Festival). Kindly bring your transaction slip and valid identification.
• In case of any queries on refund or otherwise & if our patrons are not able to come for the festival during January for any reason, please do contact www.bookmyshow.com on +91-80-3989 5050.
• In case of any refunds required on online tickets, please contact BookMyShow on +91-80-3989 5050, and the full refund on the ticket shall be done as per their policies.
RETAIL OUTLET:
• Kindly ensure that the tickets are not tampered or damaged for validity during the 20th & 21st Jan dates of the Storm Festival.
• All tickets bought at the retail outlets are valid for the Storm Festival during the new dates. (20th & 21st Jan 2012) Please note: the tickets for the 11th Nov 2011 will be valid for 20th Jan 2012 and the tickets for 12th Nov 2011 will be valid for 21st Jan 2012.
• All tickets purchased from an authorised retail outlet, kindly contact Mr. Ramesh for any queries at Liquidspace Entertainment - #38/1, Berlie Street, Langford Town, Bangalore - 560025; Phone: +91 80 41248225, Email: info@liquidspace.in . We will take all possible measures to make sure that you don’t go through any further inconvenience in the process of refund, though the expenses you may have incurred for travel and outside accommodation unfortunately does not come under our purview.
We, at Storm Festival, look forward to organizing the festival on the postponed date, and will undertake all necessary steps to make the festival better, and the cleanest possible. Again, we deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused. We sincerely hope that you Stormers give us the same support that you gave us all along.
